Indonesia: Sail & Snorkel Raja Ampat

Embark on a multi-island sailing adventure to some of the most beautiful islands in the Indonesian archipelago. Board the sailing schooner Katharina in Sorong for a leisurely 8-day passage to enjoy quiet coastal villages, emerald seas, shimmering white beaches, magnificent coral gardens and marine life.

We believe that to travel responsibly, a portion of our tour cost should benefit the communities we visit. For this trip, we will donate to PATH, a global health NGO whose work on improving child health services in Indonesia is having a very positive impact.

Day 4

Awake to the site of Penemu Island. Go ashore via dinghy and after a short hike, enjoy one of the best views in Raja Ampat. Spend the rest of the day kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling in these pristine, marine-rich waters. Early evening sail towards the Wayag Archipelago.

Day 5

Few areas in Indonesia can lay claim to such unsurpassed natural splendor as Raja Ampat’s Wayag islands. Spend the day exploring these islands rich in vibrant reefs and marine life—Raja Ampat at its best.

Day 6

Make the most of this unique region for one more morning, exploring the maze of mushroom-shaped islands, swimming and snorkeling. In the afternoon cross back into the southern hemisphere on the way back to mainland Papua.
