8 Days, 7 Nights

Day 1

Arrive Kilimanjaro

On arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport, be welcomed and transferred to your accommodations at Arusha Coffee Lodge about an hour’s drive away.

Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Arusha Coffee Lodge, learn the full process of coffee-making on a bean-to-cup coffee estate tour. Then, take your safari to the air. Depart Kuro Airstrip to view Tanzania from above in your private plane. Upon arrival in Tarangire National Park, embark on a shared game drive to your accommodations where you’ll dine under the stars in a traditional Maasai Boma whilst enjoying the dancing and singing of Maasai menfolk. Sample the delightful flavors of the bush as well as international cuisine in this alfresco dining experience, all of which is done by lantern light and the glowing embers of a large bonfire.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

The Maasai people (or Masai) have clung to their traditional way of life despite education, civilization and western cultural influences, and continue to thrive in Kenya and Tanzania. Today, visit a Maasai Village and explore their customs, culture, and lifestyle. Then, embark on a shared game drive before enjoying lunch back at the lodge.
Spend the afternoon on a walking safari and the evening in the bush on a sundowner before embarking on a night game drive!

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, embark on a game drive en route to Kuro Airstrip for your flight to Manyara. Gaze out over the expansive landscape through your private aircraft’s window. Transfer to your accommodations in Ngorongoro upon arrival just in time for High Tea.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

2.5 million years ago a volcano collapsed onto itself forming the 100 square-mile Ngorongoro Crater we explore today. The 2,000-foot-deep volcanic caldera is home to an abundance of wildlife featuring almost every animal species present in Africa. Spend the entire day out in the bush exploring the magnificent landscape on a game drive.

Day 6

Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, head out to explore Lake Manyara National Park and all its diversity. With 11 ecosystems ranging from savannah to marsh to evergreen forest, the park supports one of the highest biomass densities of large mammals in the world. Have the chance to see elephant families on the move, or (if you’re lucky) its famous population of tree-climbing lions!
After returning to your lodge, explore one of their many activities or sit back, relax, and take it all in before heading to the Manyara Airstrip for your flight to Serengeti National Park. Transfer to your accommodations in the park upon arrival, ending the day with a sundowner.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the vast wilderness of Serengeti National Park on a shared game drive. In the evening, return to camp to indulge in a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day 8

Arusha and Onward

Spend the morning on a game drive through the Serengeti plains. After lunch, transfer (with another game-drive en route) to the airstrip for your safari flight to Arusha Airport. Then, depending on your flights, head to the Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home, or transfer to a day room at Arusha Coffee Lodge to freshen up before your airport transfer to catch your flight home or to your trip extension.

Extend Your Stay!

Extend your trip to visit Zanzibar! Its architecture, language and religion are a reflection of both the island’s distant and recent past; with the passing dhows that constantly sail along the coastline and the murmurs of the fishermen drifting on the sea breeze, that past is seemingly not so distant.
