Home to the great migration of wildebeest, elephants, lions and other African wildlife, Tanzania offers an unforgettable safari experience. Whether you are looking to spot the Big Five, take a walking safari, or just relax and take in the beautiful scenery, Tanzania has something for everyone.
When to go: Some might consider July to October to be the best time to visit Tanzania when the country is at its driest. This coincides with the migration river crossings. We also believe that you will have incredible experiences and wildlife sightings during the green season from March to May as well.
As the world’s largest unbroken caldera, Ngorongoro Crater is home to an array of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and more. The crater is a protected area, with its unique ecosystem providing a safe and natural habitat for these animals and plants. The crater also offers breathtaking views and stunning landscapes, making it an ideal spot for nature walks and photography.
Tarangire National Park
Considered by some to be one of Tanzania’s most spectacular parks, Tarangire National Park is home to diverse wildlife and is renowned for its large population of baobab trees, which can reach up to 30 meters in height. Tarangire is also known for its breathtaking landscapes, with rolling grasslands and picturesque hills. In addition, the park is home to a variety of birds, reptiles, and amphibians, making it a great place for wildlife lovers. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, such as game drives, walking safaris, night game drives, and hot air ballooning.
