How does it work ?
We are full-service travel curators. We will work with you one-on-one to understand your interests and expectations to create your ideal trip. The first step is to get in touch with us, after which we will hold a commitment-free phone or video consultation call. When you are ready to begin planning your trip, we will create a detailed custom itinerary based on your interests and budget for a non-refundable fee of $200 per traveler that will later be applied to the price of your trip. Ponte Travels will handle all the logistics, arrangements, and reservations.
Why should I book with a travel curator?
Now more than ever, expert knowledge is critical for navigating the ever-changing nuances and requirements to move from place to place. As your travel curator, we’re tuned in and can provide you with the latest safety information, restrictions, and procedures as well as provide you with expert travel advice and logistical support. At Ponte Travels, we work with a network of verified properties and suppliers that keep high standards of quality and safety.
Can I make changes to the itineraries?
All of our sample trips are fully customizable. We will work with you one-on-one to create the perfect itinerary to fulfill your travel dreams. We can accommodate most dietary and lodging requests and will work hard to make sure your trip exceeds your expectations.
Is airfare included?
Airfare is not calculated into the price of the itinerary. We are able to coordinate air ticket purchase as a side-service.
Do I need travel insurance?
Due to the uncertain nature of travel, Ponte Travels highly recommends that each traveler hold a comprehensive travel insurance policy including trip cancellation and interruption, accident, emergency assistance, and emergency medical and evacuation coverage. For some countries and group travel, emergency medical and trip evacuation is a requirement. To safeguard your travel investment, we highly recommend acquiring travel insurance that covers pandemics. We are able to advise on policy options that meet worldwide standards to include pandemic coverage.
What does “full-service” mean?
We do our best to make your travel experience as carefree as possible. We will create your personalized itinerary, make all accommodations and tour bookings, coordinate all logistics associated with the trip, offer assistance booking international airfare, consult on travel insurance, provide pre-departure cultural and preparation material, and even assist with some visa requirements. Furthermore, you will be supplied with local contacts and a 24/7 emergency number for extra peace of mind.
Do you work with groups?
Yes! We delight in designing custom itineraries for small special-interest groups. Avoiding big-bus tours, we focus on small, local excursions that allow your group to truly immerse in the experience. Whether it’s your yoga class, book club, alumni reunion, running group, or NGO donors, we will coordinate the perfect adventure to match what you love most.
What does the price include?
Tour price includes all features listed in individual itineraries. Individual inclusions and exclusions will vary, however, most include meals, accommodations, transfers, and tours. Please read our Terms & Conditions for full exclusions.
What is your cancelation policy?
Things happen. If you need to cancel your trip for any reason more than 60 days prior to departure, you may receive a refund for the remainder of the tour price, minus the deposit. No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made within 60 days of departure. Please read our full cancellation policy in our Terms & Conditions.
